Norm Herron, the founder of Pacific Technologies, has over 25 years of information technology experience assisting businesses with strategic planning, technology solution implementation and IT support services. Norm has worked in various capacities, including Project Manager, Designer, Installer, and Technician. Norm has performed these functions for a broad spectrum of industries in various environments, ranging from the corporate workplace to healthcare environments. Norm uses his extensive technical knowledge and communication skills to the benefit of clients by providing effective problem-solving methods to deliver successful results. Norm earned a B.S. in marketing at Cal State Long Beach as well as an M.B.A. focused on Information Systems.
Tom Killian has over 25 years of consulting, IT, and datacom experience, with a primary emphasis on IT infrastructure, networking, information security, and systems management. He has worked with a wide variety of clients and industries including medical, legal, manufacturing, retail, and professional services. Tom has extensive experience in IT networking, servers, and desktop operating systems. He has designed and implemented local, wide area, and wireless networks. Tom’s experience includes LAN routers, switch, firewall, and virtual network configurations, server hardware evaluation, selection implementation, network and server virtualization, operating system selection and implementation. Tom holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Long Beach and is also a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Jeff Herron is responsible for implementing day-to-day IT directives and providing technical support. He has worked with various clients to help upgrade office workstations, including backing up and migrating data, setting up e-mails, and providing help desk support for new systems. He has extensive experience with mobile apps on multiple platforms and cloud-based collaboration systems. Jeff has a creative approach to troubleshooting and resolves complex issues in an expeditious manner. He brings his passion for computers to every project and is constantly expanding his knowledge on new developments in IT. Jeff is currently studying at LBCC.
Harley Genter is an IT operations specialist who focuses on using technology to improve business workflow. He works with businesses to incorporate technology so that they increase productivity and promote bottom line results. In an ever-changing technological world, his main focus is to offer the best solution for any business needs. Harley has a degree in Business Administration from Butte College with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems.
